Two stage interview process. First stage was a telephone interview to cover the basics, what did I know about Eckoh, they elaborated on the role & what a typical day would look like followed by an opportunity for me to ask further questions. They also checked my salary expectations. Second stage is face to face with Team Lead & senior developer. Second stage involved a technical test which was paper based and covered off the core technologies used at Eckoh. Many I knew (HTTP/web services, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL & Linux command line) but telephony specific ones like VXML we didn't cover as I stated I had no experience. Interviewers were friendly and jovial, put me at ease but amount of technical questions was extensive and some a little vague / could be phrased better. Initial communication was slow but picked up after initial telephone interview. Seems like a friendly company with interesting projects.
