Met for under an hour. Took a tour of the office/ showroom. Overall basic and easy questions. Went through what a typical day details. Interviewed with HR and another employee.

I had a very positive interview experience with Eastern Accents. The process was smooth, professional, and welcoming. The interviewer made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain the role clearly. I left the interview feeling excited about the opportunity and appreciated how respectful and organized everything was.

First thing they do is give you a math, grammar, and typing test, if you graduated high school you will do fine on these tests. HR was pessimistic and did the most to not sell the job to me. Told me how they get unpaid holidays, how expensive their healthcare is, etc. She wouldn't let me speak and compared me to past workers even though she didn't know me. Just because they have had a bad experience with past workers doesn't mean you need to show your worry and paranoia to the people trying to get a job. Most importantly, both her and the manager of the department lied about the job they were offering. I applied to a Data Entry Assistant job yet they ended up offering me what they called a "customer service" job where I had to answer calls of the textile manufacturers and U.S companies wanting to buy those fabrics from Eastern Accents. The online description never mentioned anything about answering calls to customers or sending emails. Manager said that coworkers can get mad and say things they don't mean but that I shouldn't get affected by the things they say. She also said that I need to focus on what my job is and to not worry if other workers aren't working. All in all this made it seem like I was going to be yelled at, overworked, and underpaid. They want you to have a car because they are paranoid of you not getting to work on time yet there is a waitlist for you to get a parking spot in their parking space.
