Warning to interview candidates of E&Y. I believe E&Y is conducting interviews to pump candidates for information about how to run their business. I went through an interview process in which I was interviewed for 4 months extended a verbal offer, then agreed to the background check(credit, criminal and reference). The background check was cleared and they were drafting a written offer when all of the sudden they went dark and would not go forward with the offer claiming a pending re-organization. This was damaging to me personally as my references were asking me what happened but then when comparing notes with other candidates in outplacement I discovered that this has happened to many people with E&Y. I found E&Y's process to be highly unprofessionally and mismanaged and wanted to warn people about this approach. I hope this helps and is posted as it is an honest accounting of what happened and is in the spirit of which social media is intended to be leveraged for.

A screening call from friendly HR staff in the Philipines, follow HR screening by UK based HR staff, 1st competency screening 60 mins, 2nd competency screening 90 mins, from the 1st competency screening the interview coordination became hectic as if they didn't not comunicate internally, different people were invited to interview and different people joined, the focus on interview was completely different to what it was mentioned by their HR. Lack of coordination by the HR was outrageous.
It was a three stage process with the final stage involving preparing a slide deck with answers to a case study to present to a director and partner in EY format
