The company flew me out to Colorado Springs. That's where it ended for me. I never even got past the rental car counter because the EVRAZ company credit card was declined! So, a cab ride an hour away cost me $110 bucks out of pocket only to have my hotel room also unpaid for. The hotel had the reservation but no credit card auth. to bill the room. So, another $180 out of pocket for the room. The next day (morning of interview) my point of contact (in Chicago btw) apologized and said I would be reimbursed after the interview. Well, long story short they said they would send me a check for my out of pocket costs. I got to the "interview" and as soon as my interviewer found out about the fiasco of the trip he ended the interview and sent me to HR to get reimbursed. (it was obvious I have ZERO interest in such a messy company) HR in Pueblo has absolutely ZERO power and Chicago is useless. After 3 hours of fighting for my reimbursement, I was told the soonest they could "cut me a check" was Monday!! (this is Friday) So, I am leaving Pueblo,Co. down $400+ dollars and beyond disgusted!! Unless you are desperate for a job I would avoid EVRAZ at all costs!!
