Entrevista
I first had a phone screen and was told that Tapestry had a need for an every other weekend part time position that would work great for me and my schedule. I am very skilled and educated with a B.A. and almost my Masters degree as well in the field. The company knew in the interview that I was seeking a part time position for supplemental income. This was a good fit for me because I have worked in chemical health in the past and also the location is only 1 mile from my residence. I arrived early and waited for the hiring manager. She never presented and instead had woman at the front desk meet with me who stated she was also the lead recovery specialist. We met in a little room and then I was given a tour. I noticed upon arriving that I was very overdressed in business dress clothes for the interview as the interviewer and other staff where walking around in jeans with giant rips and holes in them and flannel shirts. While I sat and waited to be seen for the interview a few recovery specialists where meeting in a room next to me with the door open and I could hear them swearing the entire time. When I did finally meet with the woman running the front desk area she said to me, "you have so much experience that I really don't need to ask you any of these interview questions. You would really be a good fit for this position". I was then given a tour. The facility appeared to be very dirty and I felt bad for the residents. After I left I waited a couple days and reached out to Human Resources regarding the position and never heard back from them. There has been zero contact weeks later to say thank you but no thank you.
