I submitted my application online and received an email from the recruiter 4 days later. We set up a phone screen/first round 7 days after I submitted my app. The recruiter never joined the Microsoft Teams meeting but the president of the company did and conducted my phone screen! I was quite surprised but I think it went well because I had a second round interview 3 weeks later with the Chief of Party. Halfway through the interview, they stopped me and said they were looking for someone with more experience in one particular aspect, but they were intrigued by my background and that I should apply for a different role on the team. I immediately did and let them and a colleague copied on the email thread know. I never heard from them again despite following up 3 times over 7 weeks. I even emailed the recruiter again to let him know that I applied for the second role and I never heard from him again either.
