Was approached for the role in October. Had a phone interview that went ok, demonstrated that I had policy knowledge/experience and not too much on the technical. They seemed ok with that and I was through to the panel interview which effectively took all day - starting at 10:00 with a lunch break and ending at 4:00. Lots of very precise questions, especially on the technical side. The focus wasn’t to much on my previous experience but hypothetical questions. I didn’t get the job as there was someone with more experience. I didn’t find out till early February so the whole process took almost 5 months.
