Entrevista
First stage is an online interview with games and some engineering related short tasks. Second stage is technical interview with people from the department you will be working with. Last about 1 hour only.
there was a take-home technical challenge before the interview. the technical challenge posed interesting questions. the interview discussed the technical challenge submission. the interviewers went into details asking the design thinking of the solution submitted.

Online application, telephone interview, and then face to face interview with senior manager and two technical team members, plus a mini interview with HR to check you have no better offers on the table.
The technical test was challenging and open ended, however was in the form of a technical discussion surrounding some circuit diagrams and then technical probing of theoretical electronics.
The interviewers were interested in design work I had done outside of employment and had clearly spent a long while looking at my LinkedIn profile and personal website in addition to my CV.
The entire process took a very long time, there was a period of several months between submitting my CV / online application and being asked for a phone interview. The period until an in-person interview was short, and then I quickly received a verbal offer within a few days. It did however take over a month of chasing from myself after this as they would not confirm the salary in writing, only the standard terms.
The salary offered for a senior role was low (£10-15k below other roles applied to and my existing job) however in fairness they did offer a good benefits package and the role sounded interesting. A 39hr week did not help to compensate the lower pay.
In the end Dyson retracted the job offer after a month without citing a reason (although kindly offered to keep me on file! - not likely!). I suspect they had been waiting to interview another candidate and decided they had a better proposition, however in the meantime they should not have made an offer and a string of excuses about managers being unobtainable for confirmation.
For an organisation struggling to recruit engineers I feel Dyson have a very poor attitude towards professional interviewing.
