There was no initial interview with a recruiter. After applying, I was contacted directly by the hiring manager. We set up a call and spent an hour discussing the role. It was your normal interview. He had only been with the company a few weeks, so he was very new. The company obviously had been through a reorg lately because my second round of interview was with two of the sales leads, one of whom was even newer to the company. After that interview, which went pretty well, I thought, they ghosted me. I reached out with "Thank You" notes to everyone and while the two sales leads at least accepted my LinkedIn invite to connect, the hiring manager never made contact again.
