Bizarre and unprofessional experience. Applied online. Few weeks later, I received an out-of-the blue call from a team member who would be a direct report of the role I applied for. She wanted to interview me then and there on the phone. Bizarre. Weeks passed. I had a few additional interviews with folks, including hiring manager. Then nothing. The role has been filled, but they never reached out to let me know, which is obviously frustrating given the time I invested in the process.
