      Entrevista

      Recruiting was responsive and friendly. Duo branded themselves as an inclusive and thoughtful company. A recent acquisition by CISCO had changed their organization a bit which is understandable. A lot of people that have only been with the company as CSMs under a year. Good interview process - HR, hiring manager, other CSMs and a mock presentation followed by two more interviews. The unforgiveable part in my mind is the lack of follow up. If I do an initial screening and the decision is no I don't expect that. Seven separate sessions with a mock presentation and no follow up is disrespectful. I feel my time and efforts were taken for granted.

      The process started great with the coordination of the 2 screenings and 4 interviews. However, there was zero follow or response from anyone upon the completion of the process. I imagine that they found a good candidate however the way this was handled was horrendous.

      - phone screen with recruiter - phone screen with CS manager - onsite The expectations set by the recruiter did not align to the phone screen with the hiring manager. I was told it would be a "deep dive into your resume" however, when speaking with the hiring manager she was taking her dog for a walk and was nowhere near a computer to look at my resume. None of the questions by the hiring manager were based on my professional experience. All were cultural questions such as "Tell me your life story." and "What do you like to do for fun?" The hiring manager let me know a decision would be made on next steps by end of that week. After following up several times, it's been 3 weeks since hearing anything back. Simple straightforward communication would have been much appreciated, as transparency is all that a candidate is really looking for. However, this really gave a negative first impression.
