Initially, the interview process was great! I spoke with a recruiter or 2 and the hiring manager. Following these calls, I had another with the hiring manager where I did a POC like presentation utilizing the Duo product. I then had an onsite interview with 3 potential colleagues as well as an additional conversation with the hiring manager. After this, I waited for about 2 weeks before finally getting contacted for a final interview with the VP of Sales & Operations Engineering. Overall the process took approximately 5 weeks. Now for the not so positive part(s).... Through the interview process with Duo, I have read about how smooth the process is and how, if not selected, people would get a call or email from the recruiter giving them feedback as to why they were not chosen for a role. My experience was not as smooth or positive. I waited a week before reaching out to the recruiter to see if a decision had been made and I just get a one-liner email apologizing for the delay and that they chose another candidate. I responded back requesting some sort of feedback and still have not gotten a response. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal as the recruiting interview process with most companies is broken, but I expected more of Duo. I spent a substantial amount of time prepping for calls, traveling to the local office, etc.. And I would expect to get something back.

Smooth process from start to finish. It all started with the recruiter who is very friendly and kind. Wasn't pushy and really went out of her way to make sure my needs and asks were met and not forgotten. She protected me through the entire process like I was already an employee. Very excellentellent communication all the way through. The staff is super friendly and the coolest office work vibe I have ever witnessed. Everyone was smiling the whole time and very accommodating to my needs. The receptionist even moved her Jacket so I had a place to put mine. Every person I ran into offered me a water or pop. It started off with a scheduled phone call to talk to my would be boss, very humble and relaxed guy. Then I did an over the phone demo with my would be boss. He didn't make me feel nervous the whole thing was super chill. After both of those went well I got invited to an interview panel process where I met a couple different AEs, a SE, a SE mgr, Sales mgr, and my would be boss. All of them were so pleasant it wasn't like an interview, it was like I was having great conversation with friends. After that I had one final conversation with the head of the team and it was the same. Super friendly call just talking to get a feel if I would fit in. The culture at Duo is one of a kind.
