      Me postulé a través de otra fuente. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Driver Hire (Acocks Green, England) en ene 2024

      Entrevista

      Was headhunted via indeed. Interviewed to be told id know in a couple of days. Was asked if i have kids, plan to have kids, then asked again later on! Red flag. 2 days on still didnt know, got a call for a second interview as it was between me and someone else - was told id know by this point. Anyway went to 2nd interview told id know again in a couple of days. Was asked for references?? Apparently these held up the knowing in two days but would be told id get a CALL to inform me if I was successful. I didnt get a call, i got an email, the other person had more experience. Which is fine, but id really consider the questions asked - what if someone is infertile, has suffered loss, simply doesnt want kids or any other reason. Its none of the companies business and so insensitive but clearly domt want people to go on maternity. Also dont fibe time frames if you cant stick to them and add in more stages. And contact references when the other candidate is clearly getting the job. Waste’s interviewees and ex employers time.

      Thank you for your review. We were disappointed to read about your experience as it really doesn’t align with the way that Driver Hire aims to communicate with and look after candidates. We have had a conversation with the team at Acocks Green and they recognise that questions about children are not appropriate for an interview, but confirm that this topic had no bearing on their hiring decision. If it would help, and to avoid any misunderstanding, the team in the office you were dealing with would be happy to discuss the matter further with you. Whilst we never want to read about negative experiences, things do sometimes go wrong, as they seem to have done in this case. It’s important that we hear about them, so that we can improve for the future. We’re therefore grateful to you for taking the time to give us this feedback.
