Phone screen with HR then a data analytics exercise which really just consisted of candidates recommending improvements for DoorDash’s business. It was structured in a way where the vast majority of candidates wouldn’t get a second interview but the hiring manager got to aggregate a bunch of ideas for free from all potential candidates. Seems sneaky and unethical to me. Do the analytics exercise after the hiring manager interview. It was clearly obvious this is a new way to steal people’s ideas without having to pay them. Very sad and abusive.
