      EMPLOYEES OF DOORDASH WILL TELL YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER THAT YOU ARE INTERVIEWING. Do *not* interview her if it is important that the process stay confidential. My employer found out I was interviewing here because a DoorDash employee told one of my colleagues I was in the process. (I know this to be true because another colleague has since confirmed the name of the individual at DoorDash.) I even *specifically* requested special attention to confidentiality at the beginning of the process, which I was assured. Besides that, the recruiter was completely unfazed and unapologetic about the issue; the hiring manager didn't respond; and I therefore felt compelled to warn prospective senior interviewees of how this company thinks of confidentiality. This happened either a) as a back-channel reference check or b) because my colleague had a suspicion and was reaching out for confirmation. Either way, confidentiality might be the most important aspect of any interview process and this company blew it. The revelation I was interviewing here had significant consequences at my current job and I *WISH* I had never started the process here. If you are interviewing for a senior-level position and have a lot that could be lost by interviewing here or else some mutual connections with your interview line-up --- Do NOT start the process. Otherwise: Process was efficient -- Zoom interviews in 30-45 minute windows (determined arbitrarily, an interviewer told me) -- before final-round on-sights. Lots of case and situational-based questions, including a take-home case that was a lot of fun, but which I don't think anyone read :) I made it to the final round but did not receive an offer because the role was more ops-intensive than my background. The way this experience ended -- with a breach of confidentiality -- was a huge bummer. My interview roster was full of smart, exciting, (unusually young) people who are passionate about making DoorDash the next platform for anything -- effectively competing with Amazon, etc.
