Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn, since the office would have been quite a commute for me the first questions I asked was in regards to if the company planned to have a hybrid/remote work situation once the pandemic ended and salary for the position. The recruiter confirmed that they had planned to go back to a hybrid work environment, and already had launched a hybrid environment pre-pandemic. I went through a series of interviews - 2 short phone interviews and 5 lengthy video interviews…probably totaling 3.5-4 hours total spanning across 2 weeks…only to find out that the company had not yet decided on a hybrid work environment and that they were going to expect the team to likely be in the office full time. I wish the recruiter would have been upfront about this to begin with, so much time was wasted between all parties.
