The recruiter call was quite frustrating and unproductive. We didn't delve into details about the job or my background. Communicating with the recruiter felt challenging, reminiscent of conversing with my grandparents. What added to the difficulty was the recruiter's admission of having arthritis, needing to meticulously jot down everything I said verbatim because of a lack of understanding about the role. This led to frequent interruptions in our conversation.
The overall interview experience was an oral exam with a list of questions rather than a meaningful discussion.
Furthermore, despite claiming to work for the company, the recruiter displayed a lack of knowledge about their product lines or hiring procedures. If this interaction reflects the company's HR process and lack of clarity in setting interview expectations, it raises doubts about the accuracy of positive reviews. I have decided not to pursue this role or engage further with this company.
