Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Docusign (Chicago, IL) en may 2020
Entrevista
I was very unprofessionally ghosted by a DocuSign recruiter who had reached out to me directly.
A recruiter reached out to me via a cold email to ask me to apply. I wished to pursue this opportunity so I scheduled a call with them. They provided me a calendly link and we scheduled a meeting on a Monday. I had a good call with the recruiter and both of us agreed that I seemed to be a good fit and they told me they would pass me along to an interview with the hiring manager, promising I'd probably hear by Wednesday but at least by the end of the week. When I hadn't heard anything by the following week, I sent the recruiter a message inquiring if the process would continue. They got back to me very quickly saying they were still waiting to hear back from the hiring manager. Another week went by so I emailed the recruiter again inquiring if they had decided it wasn't a good fit and moved on. This time they did not get back to me at all.
If you reach out to people directly, you should at least give them the professional courtesy if it's not the right fit instead of just leaving it open-ended.
We are very sorry to hear of your experience. If you are open to it, our VP of Recruiting, Nic Jagoe, would be interested in hearing more. She can be reached at Nic.Jagoe@docusign.com.
