They sent me an InMail, and then a direct email to my personal email. The company seemed to have an interesting niche and the sourcer wanted to schedule a call for a remote role as a recruiter. I scheduled and then was told someone else entirely would be calling me. I now believe it was a fake name. When I took the call, there was an automated message telling me that I would be recorded during the call and that staying on the line was giving consent to be recorded. Then this person asked me 3x how my days was going while the line echoed, then he asked why I was interested in a new job, okay fine. But then he wanted to know if I would relocate for a job, and then if I would travel for a job. All for a what was supposed to be a remote role. Sounds like a giant scam. I said no to everything and told him that I was hanging up.
