1st stage a phone conversation with HR which was very a nice conversation, the usual HR stuff.
2nd stage video meeting with a senior manager which I came out of the enthused about the organisation and the role.
3rd stage video meeting with the CTO. I was warned that he was direct and although not rude he was not overly pleasant and not someone I would want to work with. He had me on the back foot from the first question and I hold my hands up I did not perform well.
My disappointment at not getting the offer was borne of the fact I did not not get the opportunity to tun it down.

1st question (no small talk): Is this role not too junior for you?
