      My experience with the hiring process felt unusual. Everything was handled via email with no live interviews, and I was asked to complete a large assignment (designing an app + a video walkthrough) upfront. Because of the time commitment required before any interview, I decided not to move forward. Candidates may want to review the process carefully before investing their time.

      They’re basically getting free work by giving out an overly detailed task that takes up a huge amount of time—literally several full workdays. All the texts and PDFs are super long and overly specific, clearly written in hopes of getting a really well-designed final product that they’ll probably end up using for something. Meanwhile, they keep insisting that they’re not going to use it in that manner.

      Evaluation criteria for assignment 1 • Is your prototype 100% pixel-perfect and clickable • Does your prototype comply with the rules in the "DigitalMind UX/UI Design Playbook" • Does your prototype cover ALL the use cases and requirements specified by the client (Appendix A, B and C) • Visual design quality - does your prototype look beautiful, polished, and professional? • Quality of the user interface - is the Ul visually consistent, well-aligned, and aesthetically pleasing? • Quality of the user experience - are the UX flows intuitive, efficient, and logical? • Your ability to manage complex app flows across many screens in a clear and efficient way. • Your ability to translate client requirements into a structured, easy-to-use prototype • Whether your prototype is fully functional in Figma, with all elements linked and interactive • Your attention to detail in every aspect of the UX/Ul, including layout, spacing, typography, colors, alignment, etc. • Whether the prototype is truly client-ready - requiring no further polish or revisions • Proper use of Figma to create a prototype. Evaluation criteria for assignment 2 • Are you able to clearly articulate your UX/Ul decisions, explain the reasoning behind them, and provide a comprehensive overview that is easy for the listener to understand.

      Hi my name is Anders and I am the founder of DigitalMind (Denmark). You can see more about me and my company here https://digitalmind.dk/om-os/ I have read some of the comments on this page and can see that some of you have a misconception of my company. Of course, I'm really sorry about that. Likewise, I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience with DigitalMind. To remove all misunderstandings and misinformation on this page, I will provide a description of DigitalMind and our recruitment process. DigitalMind was founded 7 years ago. Today we are 30 employees. All employees work 100% remotely and from home. Most of our employees reside in India and Sri Lanka. Everyone who is hired by us must pass a test. That will ensure we only hire the best people. We have a separate test for all our work position (UX design, Xamarin Form developer, .NET Core developer, After Effect Designer, UI Designer, etc.). All people in the same job position make exactly the same test - e.g. all UX designer does exactly the same test, all .NET Core developers do exactly the same test, etc. The purpose of the test is to see if the candidates are able to understand our descriptions and based on that make a good solution. It is not possible for us to only look at your previous work (e.g. Description of experience, testimonials from other clients, etc.). We need to see how you do a specific test based on our description (because that is the way you will work for us in the future). All candidates got exactly the same test. This makes it possible for us to see who is the best to understand our project description and make the best solution based on that. When you look at all the material we have made regarding a test you can clearly see that is a real test. We spent a lot of time writing the test description, making the graphics for the test, making the code for the test, etc. It takes really long time to do these tests. So I can guarantee you 100% that these tests are real and not something we do to get free work done. It would have been much easier (and less time consuming) for us to make the work by ourselves than make all the materials these tests require. Also, it would have been much cheaper just to hire a freelancer to do the work than write all the material as a test requires. So I can guarantee you 100% sure that the test is made because we want to test our candidate's skills and not because we want free work done. And of course, we hire people. That will not give any sense to do these comprehensive tests just for fun. We use them to hire the best people. I hope this helps in relation to the misunderstandings mentioned on this page ### Information for those reading this review ### Some of the people reading this review may believe that the person who wrote it has worked for us. To make things absolutely clear, I want to point out that the person who wrote this negative review has never worked for DigitalMind. This individual completed a test as part of the process for one of our open positions. We greatly appreciate that effort and are truly thankful - once again, thank you for taking the time to complete the test. Based on the results, we decided to proceed with other candidates, and therefore, this person has never been employed by us.
