A phone interview, then two pair programming sessions, then on-site interview. The phone interview was ordinary. The pair programming session was developing and testing in under an hour a web application. Not a difficult problem, but it takes time. There were two interviewers watching the coding using screen share. Partly implemented a solution before one interviewer stopped the interview 45 minutes in. The interviewer said the solution did not scale well, did not address particular cases, and was not their solution. Have done many interviews, and truthfully, am a fairly good web developer, and it was unfortunately a waste of time. Not writing a long essay about the assessment, but there were clear judgemental flaws, and it did not help me spending time with Digit.
