Instead of a genuine technical discussion, he kept undermining my answers even when I was correct. There were no coding or problem-solving questions, just condescending remarks about my previous work. Coming from a FAANG background, this was one of the most unprofessional technical interviews I’ve had and I think I dodged a bullet here. 3. Projects: When I inquired about current projects, I was shown an internal tool that honestly seemed like it could be done with straightforward prompting of existing LLMs without custom development. This raised questions about the team’s approach to innovation. It’s disappointing to see “AI-first” thrown around as a buzzword rather than a real practice Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I learned my lesson to take Glassdoor reviews seriously next time.
