You get asked questions related to the competencies. For example, they'll say they want to you talk about competency A and then ask you: tell me about a time you had a difficult customer.

I applied through a temporary competition. The whole process was quite long. There was an online application, then a test which one was rated in the area they sought after. They one may be called for interview. The interview was about 15minutes or less. It was very informal. We spoke through my cv. I couldn't start on the date they wanted. It worked out well, I was offered a job soon after. I got a Long contract, which is hard to get....2years 11months. Most are 10-16 weeks.
