There will be around 50 people in your group. The recruiters who are flight attendants will come out in their uniforms doing a dance and singing a song about all of the places this job will allow you to travel...Paris, Milan, Dubai, Lagos etc. Then they call everyone into a room where you watch a video about Delta etc. with a message from Joan Smith the SVP of inflight. Then everyone will go up and state your name, where you're from, what languages you speak, and what you're currently doing. Then you go back into the main room where there will be a lot of Delta fa's serving you off a cart and mingling with candiates. At this point you will split into groups numbered 1-4. This is important because group 1 is the group of people with the highest score of points from the phone interview, online application, and assessment ....because of this these are the people who will most likely be hired so they will do their face to face interviews first. if you're not in group 1or 2 the chance of you getting hired is slim. Anyway the groups rotate from stations like f2f interviews, reach test and photograph, info session etc. When you go in to take your photograph the sweet old lady will very casually ask you if you have any tattoos...say NO!! Ok so the interview....you will be interviewed by 2 recruiters...you MUST answer questions in the star format..... 1. Upset customer 2. Example of working with a group of people on a project...basically a team work question 3.when have you implanted change in an organization when the original plan was not working 4. When did you motivate co-workers to get a job done 5. What did you do to settle a dispute between coworkers Questions were not in these exact words but similar...can't remember the rest Their interview process sucks as they never ask questions that really matter like why did you choose Delta or why do you want to be an FA?? They also waste peoples time inviting 30 plus people to every session that they know they have no intentions on hiring. Out of a group of 50 they may hire 2-5 but they come out at the start of the interview singing about how they choose everyone at the interview out of 50,000 candidates....BULL!! It's wrong to play with people hopes like that.

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
