A couple of week back I gave an interview for the position of Web Designer at Delostyle and got selected for the next round of interview(machine test) which was conducted by them on 29th August. After having the machine test the HR told me that I got selected as a web designer and she can offer me 10K which is 1K lower than what I am getting from my current employer and that to I have to work for 10hours (10:30AM to 8:30PM) whereas my current employer is having 9hours shift (10AM to 7PM) inclusive of one hour break. Then after a bit of negotiation she told me that she can give me max 4% hike (Rs 500) on my last salary which I believe is much below industry standards. I was expecting atleast 20% hike on my last salary as I am having 2+ years of experience. Anyway I got hired by one company which matched my expectations. It seems very annoying that these companies are incapable of giving proper hike and wasting time of people like us who are looking for good companies for both financial and professional growth.
