Worst Interview Ever- In my 2 years of career I have never ever witnessed such a egoistic interviewer in my life, sourya ! Even if they wanted me to hire me for highest salary ever paid to an individual i would never want to share the same room with him
Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en DeepSource (Bengaluru)
Entrevista
The interview felt more like a "practice interviewing session" for other engineers. The interviewers looked uninterested, and it felt more like a bunch of people looking at my screen to see how I write code. The interviewing environment itself was uncomfortable. Upon that, nobody gave any information about the interview process. i reckon the company is suitable for fresh college grads, not for experienced folks. The company is doing some good stuff, and with an excellent interviewing process, they can at least maintain a good image of the engineering team working there.
The interview process is well designed to understand the candidate based on the regular day to day job that they will perform instead of just random DSA or Competitive programming questions.
First round involved a casual call with the HR related to your experience, current work, expectations, etc. The HR also explained about the role and the organization.
The second round was a technical round in which questions related to your past projects, experiences, developer tools were asked. And also some scenario based technical questions were asked and discussed upon.
Following this a hands on project related to the role was given and after submitting the project, a follow up round happened to discuss about the project.
The final round involved a discussion with both the founders in which further discussions regarding the role, org, etc happened.
The offer was rolled out the very next day of the final round.
