I submitted my application and received an email to set up a phone interview a few days later. It was a get-to-know- you type conversation, talked about the role and the company. She then asked if I was available to come in-person the next day for a final interview. I attended the interview, we reviewed my experience and she walked me through the day-to-day process of the position. She then invited two other employees and introduced them to me. We met for a little under two hours. She then told me to go home and think about everything we talked about and call her the next day and let her know if I was interested, and if so, that she would get working on a compensation package. I called her the next day, eager to tell her I was ready to work. She did not answer so I left a voicemail. She called me at the end of the day to tell me she would partner with finance on the package and that I should hear back from her no later than Friday. (It was Wednesday.) Friday came and I received no response. I reached out via email and no response over the weekend. Monday and Tuesday came without a response as well. I sent a final email on Wednesday asking for any communication or if the position was no longer available. She responded with "we are going in a different direction, best of luck on your job search."
