I applied through LinkedIn and got an (1) interview for 30 mins with the HR to go through my experience and if it fits with the job description. Then a (2) 45-minute interview with the manager 2 asking more about my experience. He went through my CV to ask details, happenings, and technical that I used. After this, I received a (3) take home exam on HackerRank to test my skills on Bash, Linux, SQL, and the Datadog Agent to be completed in 2 hours. I suggest you do a review on this through their lab and documentations for ease. I was informed by the HR that I passed the test so I was (4) set up a 45-minute remote interview with the manager 1 and 2 for situational questions and more information on my experiences. At the same day, I did the (5) 1-hour remote technical interview about the Datadog Agent. I was given 9 links to review before this. The senior was very straightforward with what they wanted about the support needed. I just needed to rely on the documentation. On the other hand, another senior is observing our interaction. At the end, I was given the chance to ask questions. Then lastly, a (6) 30-minute casual interview with the director about future plans, the way I learn new products, and my experiences.
The HR was very active and always informing me each steps and update. Overall, the process was nerve wracking but I was happy with the result.
