Interviews are conducted through Microsoft Teams, which in my experience is known to be buggy. I attempted to join the meeting but I had a "waiting for someone to admit you" message that persisted. I left the meeting, rejoined, and was admitted.
My camera wasn't working through the Teams app so I did some quick troubleshooting. When that failed, I left and rejoined in an attempt to restart the camera through the app. As I was attempting to rejoin, one of the members of the interview panel said something to the affect of - wouldn't it be funny if we didn't admit her?
It was crystal clear from that moment that they did not want to interview me - and that is how the interview went. I was asked very few questions by the interviewers. It was evident they were annoyed for whatever reason. The interview lasted 15 of the scheduled 30 minutes (it started five minutes late due to the above mentioned camera issues).
I was asked if I had any questions. I presented one - and again could sense that this appeared to be a waste of their time, so with no more questions, the interview ended.
As is protocol, I sent a thank you email to the team. I received a notice the next morning that they were pursuing other candidates (insert fake surprise)
Pros: the process moved quickly; HR and the recruiter were very accommodating and kind; constant flow of communication with quick response times
Cons: Very unprofessional behavior.
