      The physical part was not bad the packets were long and the interview was tough but straightforward. They gave me a good perspective to what dpd is about, also the recuiters were very helpful and insightful.

      It was an easy process. All of the officers were very nice and helpful with paperwork and the physical test. This made the whole process feel very simple and comfortable. Very friendly department.

      Entrevista

      They will give you their "training" then expect you to follow those guidelines in scenarios. The "training" is a list of how they expect you to respond to certain events. Me personally I found it flirting on the lines of unprofessional, the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth and left me asking more questions than having them answered.

      DPD uses a fairly typical scenario based assessment for the applicant interview boards. Board members make sure to explain to candidates that the grading of the scenarios will be based on the rules for handling a situation that are provided at the beginning of the interview. Candidates are given a moment to familiarize themselves with the rules, then asked to recite them back to insure understanding. All candidates are told that it is understood that they may not have formal experience and should use these rules as a guideline on how to respond to the scenarios. Candidates are not expected to know exactly how to respond to the scenarios, only to be able to follow instructions and learn from mistakes.
