Depending on the position one is applying for , the SME would conduct the first round which consists of basic question about one's professional background and then begin exploring the knowledge one has on the subject. If cleared this would be followed by a manager round where same questions may be asked but from a manager's prespective. They will check if you are a resource fit for the organization from overall attitude and what you can contribute. Be honest , truthful and professional all the time.
