Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en DWF (Londres, Inglaterra) en dic 2021

      Entrevista

Incredibly unorganised and chaotic interview process. I initially applied through my recruitment consultant and was asked to attend a first interview within 48 hours. I researched the firm and the partners in the team but was given no indication of what structure the interview would be. One of the interviewing partners was at a networking/BD event and was only able to attend for around 15/20 minutes and the other was not part of the direct team. I believe I interviewed well and was invited to a second interview. I gave them my availability for a second interview and was given a date (which was only 72 hours away). I carried out more research over the weekend and on the morning of the interview, just 1 hour before I was told that one of the partners child was unwell so they had to cancel. The second interview was eventually arranged after much chasing by my recruitment consultant a week later. This was attended by 3 partners, two of whom were not on the first call. They asked me a mix of competency and basic technical questions, which I thought went well. For whatever reason my recruitment consultant did not receive any feedback for 3 days and when he did he told me they liked me and but they thought I was 'too serious' so they wanted me to attend a third interview. No third interview date was forthcoming however, and I was eventually told that this would be rearranged in the new year. In the new year my recruitment consultant chased for a new date, but was then told an internal application came in, during Christmas and that they were no longer proceeding with the interview process. This was very disheartening and unprofessional, given that I had spent significant amounts of time preparing and researching the firm. There were no suggestions of internal applications during the interview process and my belief was that they were looking to grow the team with more than one hire. The whole process left an unsavoury taste.
