Had me do a personality assessment which was kind of cool, as well as a basic word and excel test which was not that bad but definitely was an interesting approach to take. Then came the cognitive test which was misrepresented to me by the interviewer because he claimed it was a mix of vocabulary and math which considering the position I'm applying for is basically customer service I was surprised they cared so much about a "logic test". I got middle of the road on the test even though through most things I'm good at using a mix of logic and my gut feeling. To me this feels like an odd way to discriminate against applicants in an entry level position and nevermind the overtime which while not a bad thing in my eyes definitely shows they claim to want work life balance while pushing for you to devote a lot of yourself to the position that you apply for. They do a lot of promotion from within but it seems they use the starting pay and tests to weed you out or scare you away.

If I was willing I give up my dreams to be promoted from within the company.

Everything moved very quickly. They called to schedule an interview, and the interview took place the following day. During the interview process, you are required to take tests on Microsoft, Excel, and typing. After that, you have an interview with the hiring manager. Lastly, you are asked to take an IQ test

The phone interview was interesting. I referenced reviews from Glass Door that mentioned racist comments and racism w/in the organization. A member of the HR staff responded with "in the month she had been there, she had not experienced anything of that nature." Was quick to set a time to interview. Literally wanted me to come in the next day for the interview. Found that be a bit more on the side of desperation as opposed to my being qualified for the job (which I clearly was). The job has been on indeed and other job search platforms for over 30 days, hence the feeling of desperation. Overtime work was encouraged, however PTO was never mentioned; only paid holidays. I sent a follow up email asking about PTO and how that worked with the organization, still waiting to hear back. However was offered free car washes at Red Carpet, along with free monthly lunches. I GUESS that's supposed to take the place of PTO.
