I conducted a phone interview and then was asked to come by the Greyhawk location for an in person interview. I brought my portfolio along with me to the interview. The reasoning for not offering me the position was that they thought the drive would be too far for me--about 30-40 minutes each way. I had experience working as an independent designer, but not within a store before, which probably hurt my chances.
