Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en DISH (Albuquerque, NM) en feb 2011

The hiring process was extremely slow for Dish. Dish seems to keep a rolling open application open in all areas even when we are saturated with technicians in a given area.
From the date that I applied, it took 3 months before I went off for training. The application is a long one with your usual personality test. Once I was contacted, we set up an interview. In between the phone calls received, and after the interview, none of the management contacts would answer my phone, and I felt like I was being ignored. Dish sent me an offer of employment but no one returned my calls for 2-3 weeks after. I was about to give up, when I got a call that said I will be flying out for training.
The interview was relaxed, and not too extreme. I met with one of the FSM's and don't recall any difficult questions.

I was welcomed in and asked to open up n tell about myself. From there I was asked a few questions and we have some side talk on mutual interests. The interview felt smooth like conversation should be, not like a superior and subordinate type of interview.

First they did a phone interview. They asked me a couple of questions about myself. Then they described the training process. They also wanted to make sure I was flexible for scheduling. The person who conducted the phone interview said the physical interviewers were going to ask me a lot of the same questions so try to refine some of the answers. They decided they liked me over the phone and they set me up for a physical interview.
