Entrevista
Recruiter reached out fairly quickly after I applied. The phone screen went great. He was very transparent about the role and the company.
The interview with the hiring manager was scheduled soon after.
It went okay. It was clear he's only interested in people who fit a very specific mold. Was kind but absolutely looking for certain answers. Unfortunately the role which includes managing people is not that black and white despite his insistence that it is. He ended up giving me the impression of being very controlling but with a smile. Sort of gave merit to the Glassdoor reviews.
I was rejected for the most trivial reason. I had a feeling they wouldn't fill the role due to the HM's pickiness. Sure enough, the job was reposted a month later.
Good luck Disco.

Entrevista
Multiple phone interviews before a 4-5 hour long day in the office interviewing with several members of different teams. Spoke with someone who claimed to have built the global eDiscovery practice at Google. I spoke to my contacts at Google (in that department) and nobody knew who she was. They have people parading around as experts who clearly know very little about what is needed to succeed in this field. The "I used to run things at Google but I left there to work for DISCO" story worked on quite a few people, I will give them that.
After a phone screen with someone in HR who clearly didn't understand the position I was being screened for, I spoke with the VP over the segment I would be working for. From there I had a panel interview over the phone, meeting with several members of the team. A week or two later I was asked to come to the office for another round of panel interviews. Some of the interviewers (always the ones with the most inflated titles) were very snarky and dismissive. In my time at DISCO I heard the same feedback for the same interviewers over and over. I was eventually given an offer below my asking. They tried to pretend the "bonus" made up for the difference (it didn't) and eventually increased my stock options (also worthless).
