They contacted me via Linkedin and tried to convince me of this job position. Then after the first interview, they asked me for a notable technical assignment. At the interview, they said they usually expected a senior developer to do this job in 4 hours, but it was obviously an at least 8-12 hours assignment. I was surprised, and I also discussed it with my friends to be sure if it could be handled in 4 hours or not. It was definitely an assignment that required 8-12 hours for a senior developer. So, I asked for payment to do it, and they said they stopped my application process for my profile. For my application process :) Sorry, but you are trying to hire me, even though I didn't apply. I was also ready to explain solution without code :) Also, if they are assuming this assignment can be handled in 4 hours, so they need to change their developer who is estimating or need to hire a superman instead of a developer. Come on, Configuring a sandbox takes at least taking 1 hour. I am not surprised their developers are going to other companies.
