I got referred to DBZ Acoustics through a connection. After my CV was reviewed, I was contacted for a technical interview with one of the senior team members.
The interview was one-on-one and focused mostly on my past experience. I was asked to walk through the types of projects I’ve worked on, my specific role in those projects, and the kind of tools and standards I’ve used. We also talked about things like site testing, acoustic modelling, and how I approach sound insulation and environmental noise control in real-life situations.
There wasn’t any written test or formal HR screening, just a straightforward, technically focused conversation. The interviewer was professional and knowledgeable, and the whole process felt smooth and respectful. I appreciated that they were mostly interested in real project experience, not textbook answers.
