There wasn't much of an interview. I was known in the community through all of my speaking engagements and the CEO had known me for years before offering me a job. I had told a mutual friend that I was thinking about leaving my employer at that time, and he told the CEO of the company who reached out directly. Almost all hires have come from personally knowing someone who has the skills and temperament for the positions, so it really came down to him offering me the right salary.
