      Entrevista

      My interview process at CustomerLabs began on a positive note but ended as one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing experiences I’ve had. The first round with HR was mainly to assess communication skills - simple and professional. The second round with one of the founders, Hari, was more structured. We discussed my sales background, why I’m interested in CustomerLabs, and product understanding. It felt balanced and fair. However, the final “culture fit” round with the other founder, Vishnu, was extremely unpleasant. I had prepared a detailed presentation as instructed, but it was completely ignored. There was no discussion or feedback on my work. Instead, the conversation fixated on one repetitive and confrontational question: “Why should we pay you the hike you’re asking, and what if you don’t perform after three months?” Despite me giving thoughtful answers, including a clear 30-60-90 day plan, the founders dismissed everything without engagement. The tone was condescending, with frequent smirking and dismissive behavior. What was supposed to be a discussion about culture or fit turned into an interrogation that felt degrading. As a woman, I also felt there were subtle but uncomfortable undertones in how I was spoken to. The interaction did not feel entirely professional or respectful. It gave me the impression that women candidates might not be treated equally or appropriately in that environment. Overall, the process felt unstructured, unprofessional, and disrespectful of a candidate’s time and effort. I left feeling that the company’s claimed “friendly culture” was not reflected in their actual behavior.
