Was ghosted during the interview process towards the middle and definitely at the end. Fairly standard interview process. Started with a screen call with the recruiter about a high overview of the job. Then straight into their Skyline CTF Challenge. After that you get to interview with the senior analysts and the finally the hiring managers. I was told that I would hear something after a couple of days with the last interview. I waited over two weeks and nothing. I had to go over my way to reach back out only to find that they selected a different candidate. Frustrating enough, the job is still listed as open on their site and still listed as open. Had I not had to go out of my way, I would still be waiting. Seems like just ghosting is the standard process. The whole process took over a month. Recruiter told me there are possible openings in the upcoming weeks, and to re-apply if wanted. Really disappointing experience for a company for the level of prestige it has. Not sure if it's even worth for someone to go through the whole process again, with the same team that just didn't hire you. Only to ponder the thoughts of "hey it's you again, why should hire you, when we didn't select you for the first time."

The initial call with the recruiter went well, very positive, and they clearly outlined the role, expectations, and salary. Next was a Cyber Skyline challenge/quiz, which was easier than expected. The next stage was a technical interview with a Principal Analyst and a Senior Analyst. This is where things got a little strange - from the start, the Principal Analyst seemed outright bored and didn't care to know me at all. They monotonously launched into the questions and didn't comment on or follow up on any of my answers. I felt like I had failed before the interview even began.
The following day, I was notified that I didn't pass the interview, even though I felt I answered all the questions to satisfaction. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise because I certainly did not want to work under that Principal Analyst. The Senior Analyst, on the other hand, was genuine and kind.
