I went through multiple rounds of interviews both virtual and in-person and did assessments along the way. I was told during my final interview that I was one of two final candidates and they would make their decision and get back to me. After all the time and effort I put into the process and being one of the final candidates, this is the only communication I got from them after my final interview. I got a total canned and auto-generated email as if I just applied yesterday and they knew nothing about me. What a horrible way to treat a candidate. I am thankfully glad they wen't in a different direction as this is not a company I want to work for if this is any indication of how their company is run. STAY AWAY!
