I had called inquiring about a collector's position since I have about 5 years of collections experience. I received a call with a rejection for the collector's position since it wasn't any openings at the time. I was told that I could be interviewed for the telephone sales position since it was an immediate opening. I also have over 5 years of telephone sales experience. I had interview for the sales position. I was called the next day by the collection manager who stated a collector had just switched departments and he wanted to meet me right away. I had a 2nd interview. This time it was for the collector's position The interview was basic but took awhile. I had to answer several questions about negotiating with debtors and the fdcpa. I was asked about my background and credit history. Easy interview
