Was found online by an external recruiter. Had an initial conversation with the recruiter and sent them my resume. Understood there was a 4 step process; the first interview was with the hiring manager, the second interview was with a senior manager that this position would be working with, the third interview would be an in-person interview with the hiring managers - manager, and the final step would be a virtual interview with a product manager that this position would be working with. After a phone screening with the external recruiter and sending my resume, the following week I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. I received good feedback from the external recruiter and then four days later had a chat with a senior manager. After this interview there was a larger delay in communication between the company and the external recruiter. After multiple follow-ups the recruiter said the company had hired someone else who was further along in their process.
