A two stage interview that turned into three (I was offered the role on the second interview). I was waiting for the contract and then at 4pm on the same day I got told to come in for another. Last minute and what followed was very unprofessional. Another director decided I was not technical ‘enough’. So... 4hrs of interviews plus a presentation equates to nothing. Feedback to recruiter: Don’t say silly things like “it’s yours” and “you’ve got it in the bag” etc to candidate. You sound silly and unprofessional. Also you look like a fool when what happened to me happens. Feedback to management: Decide on what you exactly want from a candidate before hiring! Wasted my time and money. Also don’t offer a position to candidate if last minute you’ll retract it.
