Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Corning (Taichung) en mar 2019
Entrevista
They contacted me first. The interview process was very swift, had 3 interviews in 3 weeks with a couple phone calls from HR. Interviewers were very nice people but some questions can be difficult to answer. For my case there were no technical questions. Friend who applied to a thermal engineer position was intensely bombarded with difficult technical questions.

Since your background doesn't really match the position, why are you interested in this position and how would you fit?

I applied at the company's application site. A recruiter sent an email to ask for my convenient time for a phone screen interview. Even though I gave a certain time, the recruiter did not call for a phone screen interview.
Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Corning (Corning, NY)
Entrevista
One in-person interview at a professional conference (where I learned about Corning for the first time), two panel-style virtual interviews (three people each); Interviewers seemed to really like each other and get along well. Corning appears to have a great community of people

General interview questions (i.e., Tell me about a project you've worked on and your impact, What do you know about Corning [our company]?)
Process engineering questions (i.e., How have I improved a process in my professional life?, How do you run a good experiment? What data do you collect, and what statistical tools do you use?)

It was a long 3 step process. Talked to 2 people who worked in the plant and then the last round was with the hiring manager. Overall the questions were behavioral but the last round had some technical questions.
