I just met with the owner. He was very matter of fact. He just wanted to know my experience and figured I could do the job so I got hired. Other than that, it was quick. They don't hire very many managers here so I now run my own show but deal with a rotating door of drivers. The money is ok, but would think after 2 years I'd be a higher salary than when I started.
