Applied online. Director phone screened and asked for in person. HR delayed the in person to cut cost of travel. Another candidate was chosen. Wanted to get foot in the door so agreed to interview for a one step lower position. Glad that I did that, got interviewed by two BI managers. One was an understanding and honest person. The other? Did not like the suggestions I made on their systems. It seems they are not about innovation and efficiency. They are utilizing what was provided out of the box. Was not offered the position and I'm glad. Like their employee suggested that the management needs to accept their others can provide ideas better than them as well.
