Had an initial interview with the supervisor for the position. Was scheduled for an interview with the Controller after, which I cancelled. The hiring manager tried to get me to agree to take a lesser position for a temporary assignment to prove I knew what I was doing with no guarantee of being hired for the job I was actually interviewing for. Was very turned off by the manager. She acted like I was lucky to have the interview and she drilled me on accounting 101 topics for most of the interview.
